I don’t know why, but I was not expecting much as it looks nothing special and it’s not the most picturesque of positions opposite the bus station. However, the wine was absolutely superb and very good value. The waitress was friendly and attentive and there is no doubt we will go back to eat next time we are in Gozo.[/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”1004″ name=”Chris” position=”Design, USA” class=””]On our first night in Victoria, we decided to have dinner here.
As others have said restaurants near bus or train stations can be so-so or hell maybe even meh!
Not so with coffee break.
I had rabbit spagetthi, which was very nice and tasted fresh.
Nice waiters and nice food I’d say go There, decent prices as well & don’t be snobbish & refuse to go there based on location or the way it looks![/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”1003″ name=”Kelly” position=”Design, USA” class=””]A quick and healthy choice of snacks whilst you are out enjoying Victoria centre. We both had a French baguette filled with pulled BBQ bee and salad and a mountain of crisps! It was very tasty and well worth it. Cheap as well (15€ for both of us and a drink each!)[/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”1001″ name=”Michelles” position=”Design, USA” class=””]Came for lunch and was pleasantly surprised thinking it would be average based on where it is. The lunch special is quite good with a free class of local wine or beer. I ordered the pasta with Maltese sausage and while it was excellent, there wasn’t a lot of sausage pieces. I counted 3. My husband ordered the risotto with prawn and zucchini and he really enjoyed it. Priced I felt was a little high for Gozo, but it is the main town.[/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”1000″ name=”Marissan” position=”Design, USA” class=””]There are no views, but the restaurant is central to the city, cosy, offers a great friendly service, a variety of food choices including healthy ones, a great coffee…all this at a valued price. You exceeded our expectations.[/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”999″ name=”Nicolasio” position=”Design, USA” class=””]We visited for lunch. The menu was a good size, plenty of variety for lunch / dinner. A good choice of cuisine, Italian, Maltese among them.
The Maltese tuna ciabatta was awesome, a must try.
The staff were very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.[/nb_testimonial_item][nb_testimonial_item image=”998″ name=”Anna” position=”Design, USA” class=””]We were on Gozo for the day to visit the Ggantija temples, and when we hopped off the bus from the Ferry the Coffe Break was there right in front of us. It is very impressively set out. New outside umbrellas and furniture are modern and of high quality. The layout inside is of a similar high standard. We only had coffee and pastry but it was excellent, and the service was prompt and friendly. The menu for lunch was impressive and I presume would be of the same high standard that we experienced.
